Volunteer Opportunities

Canyon Hills Little League relies on dedicated volunteers to make our program successful. There are many ways to contribute to our league.

Volunteer Positions

• Team Manager - Lead a team throughout the season. Coaching experience preferred but not required.
• Assistant Coach - Help with practices and games. Background check required.
• Team Parent - Coordinate team communications, snack schedules, and end-of-season celebrations.
• Umpire - Officiate games. Training provided by the league.
• Concession Stand - Work the snack bar during games. Families typically sign up for 2-3 shifts per season.
• Field Maintenance - Help prepare and maintain our playing fields.
• Scorekeeper - Keep official score during games.
• Fundraising - Help with league fundraising events and activities.

Background Checks

All volunteers who work directly with players must complete a background check through Little League International. This is a free process administered through the league.
